Welcome to Prendi il Biscotto, which translates to 'Take the biscuit". We produce authentic, artisan Italian biscuits and sweet treats, using the finest ingredients.

Our Story:

As the saying goes, 'good things come to those that wait', and the inspiration for Prendi il Biscotto began over 40 years ago.

As a child, I was very fortunate to have parents who wanted me and my two siblings to have the opportunity to travel and to experience a variety of culinary dishes.

I travelled extensively throughout Italy by train, on family holidays, my father was a train driver by profession and therefore made it an affordable family holiday for a family of 5.

My childhood memories are full of recollections of experiencing the fantastic food, Italy has to offer. My most treasured memories are those times sampling the delicious biscuits and sweet treats from the many regions of Italy I was lucky enough to visit. An experience that remains with me to this day.

I aim to capture, not only the authentic taste but the entire experience I had when first sampling these biscuits in the products I create, and my own personal childhood experiences are the inspiration for my business.

I offer a range of products that have been developed from recipes collected from all regions of Italy, to offer you an authentic, culinary experience rarely found outside of the country.

The versatility of our products means that they are suitable for every occasion, whether it's part of a dinner party, a unique gift, a coffee morning or simply a personal treat.
