BBC iPlayer - Food Fest England - Series 1: Manchester I wanted to share with you some exciting news, hot off the press! I am thrilled to announce that Prendi il Biscotto is to be featured in the brand new BBC1 programme, Food Fest, which gets it's first airing on Monday 6th Feb at 8.30 pm and then on the BBC Iplayer. Search Food Fest England, episode 1 Manchester. The programme will then be aired again across the BBC2 network in March 2023. The filming took place last September whilst we were trading at the Manchester Food and Drink Festival. I was invited to contribute to a segment for the show and to discuss all things Italian biscuits with the two presenters, Edith Bowman and Sean Fletcher, who were both lovely and very supportive, especially as I had never been in front of TV cameras before. The programme was produced by the fantastic team from Red Sky Productions, who were there to advise and guide me through the filming process, which was great fun to do. Look out for the special biscuit I featured in January's new letter, the Canestrelli shortbread biscuit from the Liguria region of Northern Italy, as it will be the star of the show!
