Biscotto alle Mandorle all' Amaretto - Amaretto infused almond biscuit (GF) (Vegan option available)

There are numerous variations found throughout Italy and differ slightly depending on the region. This biscuit is infused in amaretto liquor and finished with sliced almonds, and originated in Genoa in the North of Italy.

These crisp bite and soft centred biscuit are also known as Amaretti Morbidi, which simply means soft amaretti and differs significantly from the harder crunchy amaretto biscuits typically found in other areas of the North.
